This role requires a change agent who can help infuse strategic planning rigor and an innovative mindset across agency disciplines. The Director will partner with in-house teams in Insights, Media, Creative, Analytics, and Tech to raise the bar in how we leverage business, brand, and consumer information to answer clients' marketing challenges.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can succinctly translate the client’s marketing challenges and objectives into meaningful and actionable communication objectives and agency briefs. S/He is the lead ambassador for the strategic process - ensuring strategies and plans are grounded in objective based planning and deep consumer understanding, reflective of innovative ideas, inclusive of relevant consumer touch points across bought, owned, earned, and shared media, and accountable to business, brand, and advertising metrics.

She/He has experience overseeing and guiding all aspects of integrated media planning and activations, ideally has briefed and partnered with Creative teams, and understands the importance of consumer-centric planning. This role requires someone that can simultaneously see the big picture while also providing actionable direction to agency teams and staying hands-on as work is developed.

  • Build trusting, collaborative relationships with clients of all levels
  • Develop communication architectures and engagement/connection strategies that can inform both media and creative
  • Collaborate with partner teams such as Insights & Planning, Media, Analytics, Creative, Tech, and Influencer to create briefs, strategies, plans, and identify metrics and learning opportunities
  • Expand scopes of work of current relevant 360i clients to include Comms Strategy responsibilities (working in the conjunction with the individual account leads)
  • Partner with Media Leads and teams to facilitate adoption of 360i’s approach to communications in both new business pursuits and everyday client business
  • Be a key contributor in winning new business across strategy and integrated media


  • Must have digital and traditional media experience (SEM, SEO, Display, Paid Social, OOH, TV, Radio, etc)
  • 8-10+ years of experience in strategy with emphasis on strategic communications planning
  • Deep knowledge of and experience with integrated marcom strategies and planning
  • Understanding of B, O, E, S communication channels and their role in brand marketing
  • Ideally has both media and creative agency experience
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to interact with people at all levels of an organization, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork and results
  • Commitment to delivering creative solutions, and the ability to align team members behind creative solutions
  • Strong client service experience
  • Has held key roles in new business development and pitches
  • Ability to think strategically not just tactically; someone who can see the big picture, but can articulate the minutia
  • Exceptional presentation skills, written and oral communication
