Overview

360i is looking for a Senior Media Manager with Paid Social and Digital Experience to join our growing team in Chicago. This person must have the ambition to take the bull by the horns and want to learn, grow and partner with the best in class. This role requires paid social marketing experience to develop strategies, implement and execute paid media campaigns while also carrying fluency and experience in broader digital buying, planning and execution. This person must have a detail oriented mind with the capability to multitask and think outside of the box in this fast moving and growing channel. The (Sr) Media Manager would have an understanding of advanced optimization and analytical skills which would drive insights and guide clients business and make actionable decisions based on data. The Senior Media Manager is a key component in the overall success of the team, our clients and 360i, as they are responsible for overseeing and optimizing campaigns to meet and surpass the clients success metrics while also supporting the team where needed with other misc. projects and planning.

 

Responsible for day-to-day management of media campaigns from soup to nuts, with modest supervision. Supervisor and Director are the main drivers of strategy but the Senior Media Manager is active in support and owning execution. The Senior Media Manager is focused on honing operational leadership and strategic skills for advancement to the Supervisor role.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of overall business experience with a majority of experience in media
  • Experience working in on clients within the finance vertical or highly acquisition centric business is desired
  • Experience with Paid Social a must and operating in platforms, i.e. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and other emerging platforms.
  • Experience in other digital advertising channels such as SEM, Programmatic, Display, a plus.
  • Understand clients’ goals and develop appropriate campaign strategies.
  • Expert knowledge of trends and tools for paid social media platforms.
  • Launching new ads from self-serve tools and/or PMD/API partner tools
  • Working knowledge of Insights tools such as: Facebook Insights and Twitter Analytics
  • Proficient in analyzing complex issues and developing relevant and actionable plans, programs, tests and recommendations.
  • Daily monitoring of pacing and optimizations (adjusting campaign optimization levers, etc.)
  • Data analysis and reporting to communicate campaign results , findings and next steps.
  • Expert in Excel and Powerpoint to accomplish bulk implementation (URL updates)
  • Recommending new targeting; based on knowledge of targeting capabilities and pixel benefits.
  • Understanding of creative/content and able to provide recommendations to ensure most effective audience to brand communication
  • Responding to email/questions from account and team leadership
  • Attending client calls and communicating campaign performance
  • Knowledge of key performance metrics for paid/earned/owned media with focus on analytics and optimization as well as leading vendor partners in the space
  • Ability to gather client/supervisor requirements and effectively translate them into effective execution
  • Ability to communicate data and reports to optimize strategic recommendations in clear, cogent fashion
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A team player with a positive attitude who is able to handle stressful situations and deadlines calmly
  • Ability to plan and carry out responsibilities with passion, a can-do attitude, and minimal direction
  • College degree preferred but required
