This role requires expertise in paid search marketing to assist in the development and implementation of media strategies, ability to craft recommendations based on performance insights, and a proven track record with bidding and budget management. This person must be detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, and able to think outside of the box to solve challenges. The Media Manager is a large contributor to the overall success of the business as they will own the day-to-day management of the account and help train, develop and lead the team towards success. This person must be organized, well-spoken and have leadership qualities as they manage and delegate projects to meet client needs. The Media Manager position requires collaboration with other Media teams as well as with Account, Analytics and Technology groups. In addition to daily managerial responsibilities, the Media Manager will assist with planning and forecasting exercises. This person must also demonstrate passion for digital marketing by keeping a pulse on industry news and events in order to identify new and innovative ways to grow our clients’ businesses. The Media Manager will be expected to present weekly and quarterly performance insights in both internal and client-facing settings, so strong analytical skills are required. He or she is expected to develop an expansive knowledge and understanding of the client's business, the competitive set, and industry. They must demonstrate expertise with advanced optimization practices and possess a familiarity with management platforms such as Kenshoo, Marin and DoubleClick Search. Additionally, the Media Manager will be responsible for building and grooming vendor relationships to enhance efficiencies and create better time management. This person must have the ability to troubleshoot, develop recommendations and a go-forward media strategy with minimal oversight from Media Supervisor/Associate Media Director.
