Associate Media Manager, Paid Social to develop strategies and implement paid social media campaigns for Fortune 500 clients.


  • Responsible for tactical elements of media plan and buy; partnering with Manager to optimize social campaigns (primarily Facebook).
  • Create and QA ads from self-serve tools such as Facebook Power Editor (or social ad tech tools)
  • Expert Excel skills; able to accomplish bulk implementation, create formulas, flowcharts, etc.
  • Daily monitoring of pacing and optimizations (adjusting bids, budgets, pausing, etc. according to plan)
  • Research, size and recommend new audience targeting; based on knowledge of platform-specific targeting capabilities and pixel benefits.
  • Supports Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly reporting (which includes compiling data, file for all performance since launch) – PowerPoint skills a plus!
  • Attend client calls and take meeting notes.
  • Able to build professional relationships and grow knowledge of industry; work with vendors, outside agencies and other agency disciplines (Media, Insights, Creative, Analytics)
  • Monitor industry trades for new advertising opportunities and supporting technologies.
  • Ad hoc duties as needed such as competitive research, support ad ops trafficking, etc.
  • Support the team where needed with other projects and planning.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ months of overall business experience, ideally experience in Media Planning and Buying and Paid Social Media.
  • Facebook Blueprint: Core Competencies Exam
  • Comfortable working with budgets, numbers, and Excel.
  • Ability to aggregate and communicate data to support strategic recommendations
  • Passionate about Paid Social Media, i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, Twitter, LinkedIn, and anything industry-related to media buying, media planning.
  • Familiarity with Social Publishing or Social Media Planning/Buying/Reporting tools, esp. Self-Serve ad environments, i.e. Google Adwords, Facebook Power Editor, etc.
  • Familiarity with social media research or social listening tools, Facebook Insights IQ
  • A team player with a positive attitude who is able to handle stressful situations and deadlines calmly.
  • Ability to plan and carry out responsibilities with passion, a can-do attitude, and minimal direction
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
