Overview

360i is looking for a programmatic expert with experience working in entertainment industry and proven mastery of video planning and buying. S/he should have strong general problem-solving skills, be an excellent communicator, organized, detailed oriented, and possess ability to work in a fast-paced environment. S/he is expected to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of DSPs, SSPs, and YouTube, evaluate potential partners, and dissect campaign performance and implement optimizations that improve performance. The role requires collaborating with internal Media, Comms, Ad Ops, and Analytics team members as well as engaging with clients presenting plans, optimizations, and innovations relevant to their business. S/he must be comfortable working with remote offices and want to be a part of a growing programmatic team.

Responsibilities

  • Actively optimize and manage multiple client campaigns and ensure campaign pacing and performance are at or beating KPI goals and campaigns are delivering in full
  • Work with internal and external constituents to understand client campaign goals and craft recommendations for executing/improving media campaigns programmatically
  • Develop RFP responses (media plans and strategic recommendations) for media and client briefs that demonstrate the various capabilities of the programmatic team and how they can help clients achieve their goals
  • Daily review of campaign performance and implementation of performance-improvement tactics
  • Pinpoint trends in the data from DSPs and analytics suites/dashboards and turn them into optimizations and/or actionable items
  • Identify opportunities to deliver better results against campaign KPIs
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of each client’s business beyond campaign objectives. Find opportunities to grow the account beyond existing strategies

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of self-service planning, booking, managing, and optimizing campaigns within DoubleClick Bid Manager, The Trade Desk, TubeMogul, or AppNexus DSP
  • Hands-on experience with PRISMA is a plus
  • College degree preferred, preferably in marketing, business, or economics
  • Comprehension of TV industry and experience driving tune-in
  • Proficient understanding of the digital marketplace including both the supply and demand sides with respect to industry knowledge and vendor technology and differentiation. This includes familiarity with third party measurement providers for viewability, verification, and fraud.
  • Intimate knowledge of online video (OLV) specifically YouTube TrueView
  • Problem-solving nature and deep curiosity to uncover the best solutions to help the client reach or exceed key performance indicators (KPI)
  • Previous experience working on Integrated Media accounts
  • Ability to respond to RFPs and build media plans that meet the objectives of the given campaign.
  • Strategic thinking yet tactical in delivery and recommendations
  • Demonstrate best practices in optimization techniques for both brand and direct response strategies
  • Conduct regular performance analysis and communicate optimization recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders in a clear, cogent fashion
  • Proven ability to synthesize data and identify trends or extract key findings and turn them into actionable insights
  • Strong Excel skills. Comfortable with formulas (VLookUp, IF, etc.), pivot tables, trending charts, and template building 
  • Understanding of 3rd party tracking and serving technologies
  • Possess excellent written and verbal skills
