As a Contracts Administrator, you will be required to provide support to the legal department and be the facilitator between the legal department and the entire company.
Your main goals will be to:
Maintain and continuously update our contract database system, as well as keep the legal department organized.
Review form agreements related to the advertising and digital marketing practice areas, including NDAs, production agreements, licensing agreements, consultant/vendor agreements, custom content agreements, and influencer marketing agreements.
Provide training to the company on topics like contract writing, the company’s legal process, and other areas of legal compliance.
Work closely with the finance department to ensure contract compliance for clients and vendors.
Take on both day to day and big picture initiatives to improve the legal department.
2-5 years of experience in the support of lawyers in advertising, marketing, technology or digital.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; paralegal certificate and coursework in the areas of law preferred
In-house experience in data/technology, talent, music licensing and/or digital services preferred.
Must have expertise in Microsoft Office (including Work, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
Must have strong computer skills; experience with Cobblestone and Docusign a plus.
Experience in project management and writing.
Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to manage client demands appropriately and work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are priority and handling multiple jobs simultaneously is the norm.
Must have the initiative and ability to work autonomously while remaining a strong and supportive member of the team.
Exercises good judgment and recognizes when to ask for help or escalate issues.
Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information requiring a high level of discretion, respect, and integrity.
