The Account Management Intern is responsible for supporting the Account team as we work towards achieving client and company objectives. The Intern provides assistance with internal client service initiatives as well as day-to-day projects, tasks, and management responsibilities. This particular role offers a holistic view into internal operations, including exposure to integrated digital strategy (SEM, SEO, Display, Paid Social), agency workflow, and budget management for a large-scale advertiser.

The Account Management Intern is a well-rounded, highly motivated team player who is eager to learn and provide support across a wide array of projects and tasks. The Intern will serve as an integral part of the team and work directly with Account leaders to develop a basic understanding of online media techniques and best practices.


Specific responsibilities include:

  • Learn the workflow of the agency process from the client problem/need to the end solution
  • Attend internal/external status meetings and provide detailed meeting notes
  • Research marketplace and conduct competitive analyses
  • Administrative tasks (managing weekly status documents, coordinating  meetings)
  • Introduction to the media account management process and providing support in areas such as:
    • Budget and campaign pacing logs
    • Generating and tracking Insertion Orders (budgets)
    • Daily, Weekly, and Monthly reporting
  • QA’ing and delivering performance reports
  • Data analysis, performance trending and campaign insights
  • Billing and financial payment process between platforms, publishers and agency
  • Learning how to understand campaign objectives/strategy and then have the opportunity to contribute and provide recommendations to internal team
  • Learning best practices and optimization techniques
