  • Overview

    360i is looking for a Business/Quality Analyst. It’s a combination of business analysis and quality assurance expertise, who's mission is to ensure the final product satisfies business objectives and user expectations. The Business/Quality Analyst is a much-needed bridge between the Experience Design team and the Technology team. You will be able to understand our client’s business needs as articulated by the Experience Design team and be able to shape and refine them into actionable documentation for the technology team. You will then be responsible for verifying that features have been appropriately implemented and are functioning correctly across a wide array of devices.

    Responsibilities

      • Work with client stakeholders to elicit, capture, analyse, refine and document their requirements
      • Work with the Experience Design team to understand the business needs and how the design and interactions relate back to that need
      • Work with the Director of Quality Assurance to develop a QA strategy that is aligned with our delivery process and client's needs
      • Collaborate with Technical Director to draft functional specs based on business needs and design requirements and document them for the team in a centralized knowledge base (e.g. Confluence)
      • Accurately report issues and status to project management

    Qualifications

      • Take requirements and in partnership with the creative and technical teams turning them into actionable specifications (epics, user stories etc)
      • Experience with project management tools, such as issue trackers (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, FogBugz)
      • Experience of the full project lifecycle and a good understanding of project roles / activities (technical and non-technical) required for successful delivery.
      • Monitor and continuously refine the QA strategy and work to fix the process and understand root cause of issues you are seeing
      • Work with developers to test their projects as features are deployed and validate that the functional and non-functional requirements are appropriately implemented and functioning correctly across a wide array of devices
      • Document bugs in JIRA Experience with project management tools, such as issue trackers (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, FogBugz)
      • Perform systematic regression testing upon the release of each new feature
      • Provide feedback on usability
      • Excellent communication and presentation skills
      • Ability to write automated tests
      • Experience with writing HTML/CSS/JS
      • Experience with Browserstack
      • User interface design / modeling skills (using tools such as Invision, Omnigraffle, Etc.)
      • Previous agency experience
