  • Overview

    Media Manager, Paid Social to develop strategies and implement paid social media campaigns for Fortune 500 clients.


    • Responsible for planning, optimizing and reporting social media campaigns (going beyond tactics)
    • Expertise in creation and QA’ing ads across all social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, etc)
    • Daily monitoring of pacing and optimizations (includes adjusting, tracking changes, escalating & merchandising results)
    • Internal/external communication as Paid Social Subject Matter Expert (SME); responding to emails/questions from account & media team as well as vendor partners.
    • Research and recommend program optimizations; based on knowledge of platform-specific capabilities, pixel benefits, and integrated media opportunities (i.e. Programmatic/Display/SEM shared learnings).
    • Leads creation of Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly reporting; including data aggregation, data marriage, and data cleansing skills
    • Able to build professional relationships and grow knowledge of industry; work with vendors, outside agencies and other agency disciplines (Media, Insights, Creative, Analytics)
    • Monitor industry trades for new advertising opportunities and supporting technologies.
    • Expert MS Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint) and other team communication tools, Sharestream, etc.
    • Partner with Account Lead to define agendas, provide supporting documentation, and attend client calls
    • Proficient in Ad operations, i.e. Publisher Pixels, DFA (DoubleClick for Ad Serving) or other tag mgmt. systems
    • Responsible for internal Finance deliverables to ensure vendors are paid in a timely mantter; working in JIRA, Nexelus, etc.
    • Mentoring/training junior talent (Associate Media Managers/Junior Associates/Interns)
    • Support the team where needed with other projects and planning.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • 1+ year of overall business experience, ideally experience in Media Planning and Buying and Paid Social Media.
    • Facebook Blueprint: Core Competencies Exam and 8+ Additional Training Modules
    • Comfortable working with budgets, numbers, and Excel.  


    • Meet and surpass the clients success metrics
    • Ability to aggregate and communicate data to support strategic recommendations
    • Passionate about Paid Social Media, i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, Twitter, LinkedIn, and anything industry-related to media buying, media planning.
    • Familiarity with Social Publishing or Social Media Planning/Buying/Reporting tools, esp. Self-Serve ad environments, i.e. Google Adwords, Facebook Power Editor, etc.
    • Familiarity with social media research or social listening tools, Facebook Insights IQ
    • Familiarity with media research tools or web analytics, such as ComScore, Google Analytics, Omniture.
    • A team player with a positive attitude who is able to handle stressful situations and deadlines calmly.
    • Ability to plan and carry out responsibilities with passion, a can-do attitude, and minimal direction
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
