    Responsibilities

    RESEARCH

    • Understands the various research tools available and actively use them (Sysomos, 360i Connect, social platforms, Mintel, Google Trends) to bring information and insights for better, more data-driven influencer ideas
    • Proactively taps the insights yard or insights team member to root influencer ideas in data
    • Demonstrates thorough understanding of client's industry and category

     

    STRATEGY

    • Develops creative ways to breakthrough digital clutter and engage bloggers and other online influencers
    • Works in collaboration with other departments e.g. Social Marketing and Insights to deliver better work for clients
    • An eye for packaging influencer suggestions in a professional manner and storytelling abilities to convey the rationale behind selections
    • With some help or guidance, can get to an influencer idea rooted in insights and/ or built within the creative presentation to sell into clients
    • Can build on data including target audience, category and POV on culture
    • Ability to develop channel recommendations
    • Defines campaign vetting criteria and create look books with minimal oversight
    • Working knowledge of paid integrations with influencer marketing
    • Can lead internal team brainstorms
    • Gives more thought leadership to team proactively sharing learnings and successful campaigns

    RELATIONSHIP BUILDING

    • Presents confidently to a room full of internal team members
    • Presents base level presentations i.e. look books to client
    • Acts an onsite influencer rep at events
    • Independently write emails to internal team, junior clients and influencers
    • maintains strong relationships with online influencers (e.g., bloggers, online media etc.) and are passionate about cultivating new relationships with influencers on emerging platforms
    • Identifies new platform opportunities and proactively begins relationships with new vendors

    MANAGEMENT

    • Proactively manages up to upper management to get support needed
    • Map to junior level account managers and junior level clients
    • Can represent as sole influencer rep in a room with internal teams for brainstorming and internal meetings
    • Independently drafts contracts and negotes with influencers, agents and vendors
    • Can prioritize projects and set timelines
    • Can identify and forecast campaign issues and alert manager
    • Assists on new business pitches
    • Proficient in writing clear and compelling case studies and incorporates this thinking proactively versus retroactively in brand campaigns

     

    MEASUREMENT

     

    • Able to set KPIs, capture and package campaign results with some oversight
    • Can partner with internal stakeholders to cohesively build reports

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or similar field
    • 3-5 years of professional experience in public relations, advertising, media publishing or related industry  
    • Proven success working with influencers
    • Detailed oriented with ability to capture and convey feedback accurately
    • Inquisitive, forward thinking and willing to take chances to deliver award-winning results
    • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal)
    • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while working on multiple projects  
    • Strong passion for all things social and interest in the digital landscape
