  • Overview

    We are looking for a full-time Technical Account Strategist working on-site at 360i in Tribeca and MINI USA headquarters office in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. This role is critical to MINI’s continued success as a leader in the space, as digital technology is integral to MINI’s marketing strategy.

    The Technical Account Strategist is accountable for a wide range of marketing technology support duties related to the daily operations of the Marketing Department of our client, MINI USA. This position works directly with the MINI Digital Manager, and is the on-the-ground liaison between 360i and many departments within BMW/MINI including Marketing, Product, Sales, Aftersales and Legal Departments, as well as agency project managers, product owners, product managers, development teams, architecture team, support resources and implementation resources to ensure that online communications (inclusive of website and CRM technology platforms) consistently and accurately reflect product positioning, factory technical specifications, and photographic / 3D precision, all while maintaining a world-class end-user experience. This role presents a rare opportunity to work hand-in-hand with both a best-in-class marketing agency and best-in-class marketer.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage strategic technology tasks related to online / integrated marketing activities, including, but not limited to, new product launches, website updates, technology platform implementations and coordination among various stakeholders:
      • Work closely with MINI Digital Manager to define and prioritize digital marketing requests and initiatives as they pertain to MINI websites and other various MINI technical platforms
      • Work with MINI product team to ensure MINI websites and marketing efforts include accurate, up-to-date product information across multi-channel digital platforms and technologies
      • Act as the MINI technical product expert for the MINI marketing team, managing product updates and new vehicle launches on the MINIUSA.com Configurator, which is the highest lead to sale conversion for MINI USA
      • Drafts legal disclosure and claims for all MINI USA sales offers in support of National and Tier 2 efforts
      • Write business requirements documentation for all new website technology implementations
      • Manages product and legal information with cross-channel agencies, including 360i, Merkle, Shift Digital, Pereira O’Dell, Beam Interactive
      • QA MINIUSA.com prior to sharing with client to ensure agency is putting best effort forward
      • Act as MINI marketing technical contact for internal departments including Sales, CRM, After Sales, Financial Services and Legal
      • Verify Dealer asset management site to ensure new content is posted correctly and functions properly
    • Learn the MINI product line inside-and-out and be able to identify specific product details / updates either at-a-glance, or using product technical briefing documentation, manufacturing ordering guides and market pricing guides
    • Work with MINI Marketing team and agency partners to help support placement, tracking and measurement of online advertising
    • Work with MINI Marketing and 360i account team to define overall launch plan, product positioning, strategy
    • Communicate, document, and manage all updates / new model launches across MINI websites and technology platforms
    • Collaborate with 360i Account, Strategy and Analytics teams on weekly / monthly reporting and analytics analysis
    • Identify opportunities to streamline marketing processes and workflows and work with 360i Technology to implement new technology for that purpose
    • Contribute to the creation of digital presentations and business cases to support ongoing digital efforts
    • Train new hires on nuances of the product, process, and legal aspects of MINI’s digital marketing efforts

     

    REQUIREMENTS

     

    Educational Requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Strategic Marketing & Data Analytics or related field.

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive work experience in digital marketing/advertising with a focus on technical platform strategy
    • Minimum of 1-2 year(s) experience in the automotive industry, understanding of sales cycles and product lifecycles
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strategic understanding of marketing and business concepts
    • Work with data to identify opportunities for lifting consumer conversion
    • Deep understanding of online site analytics and campaign reporting metrics
    • Effective project management skills and problem-solving ability
    • Must have strong organization skills with the ability to be resourceful, flexible and detail oriented
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects in order to meet tight deadlines
    • Team-oriented and able to work well in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
    • PC proficiency, excellent Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Skills
    • Self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative
    • Ability to transform business numbers into actionable plans
    • Mathematical skills, and an appreciation for quantitative results
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel

    ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

     

    • Experience working with designers and developers to implement products
    • Digital media experience, preferable with programmatic, social, or search
    • Proficiency in Atlassian Suite, especially Jira and Confluence or their equivalent
    • Experience with media software such as DoubleClick Campaign Manager (DCM), DoubleClick Search, Adwords, Google Analytics, STRATA, SQAD
    • Excellent understanding of general technology operations and service management
    • Risk mitigation, security, web technologies, routing, exchange, active directory and server knowledge desirable

    360i is the digital agency of record for MINI USA, and is based in New York, NY.

     

    This position will be based out of MINI USA headquarters in Woodcliff Lake, NJ at least 3 days per week.
